If you wish to meet new people, then you could do this in all sorts of different ways. You can go out to clubs and meet people there, you can meet people in restaurants, heck, you can even meet people on the streets if this is something that you would do.
But we think that it’s best to first find people that are likeminded, like you. This will help you set up the base for growing your social circles for later on in your life. If you find that you’re irresistibly drawn to the world of martial arts – then we suggest that you start training Muay Thai.
There, you will be able to find many different people – many different characters. Some people will strive to become the best Muay Thai practitioners in the history of the world. Some people will only visit the training camp only to take selfies in order to make people think that they do something with their life – and they don’t.
But there will also be a subset of people that you will instinctively click with. These are the people that may one day turn out to be your best friends and even soulmates. So, you can immediately see how it can pay out to train Muay Thai.
You will get to bond with people and test their mettle while you train. You will have to hold pads for them at times – and they will have to do the same thing for you. This will develop a spirit of camaraderie. Of course, you may have to spar one another at times. In this case, the best thing to do is to keep things friendly while not getting too carried away. Also, you wouldn’t want your sparring session to turn into a kinder garden where you will play “touch-butt” with each other.
But the point is, there is so much that you can learn by learning Muay Thai. It will be a platform that you can use to improve yourself and grow as a person. And this is why we recommend that you start training Muay Thai as soon as possible.
